PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

The Survivor Range of wines are made by Ben Snyman, head winemaker at Overhex Winery just outside of Worcester. The wines are terroir driven, rooted in a sense of place and pay tribute to their noble Nguni cow, known as Survivor, who is said to embody the free spirit of the Swartland. The Survivor Sauvignon Blanc 2022 is a pure expression of the Elgin terroir and shows notes of freshly crushed gooseberry, white blossom, elderfl­ower and red grapefruit on the nose, while the palate supports the aromas with fresh grapefruit and subtle hints of nectarine and tropical fruits. A mouth-watering, rounded acidity accompanies a full and long finish on the palate.
