PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
At Nilberg Wines in Stellenbosch, the focus is on crafting wines that embody the purity and intensity of their specific varietals. This boutique cellar, through its commitment to excellence and sustainable practices, produces wines that are both sophisticated and environmentally conscious. The Nilberg Merlot Reserve 2018 has an expressive nose displaying a balance of black cherries, plum and clove. This follows through on the palate with the addition of some graphite, blackberries, and cedar, with its full body, lively acidity and ample tannin structure balancing the complexity of this small batch production.
