PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Situated in Paarl, Avondale Wine Estate uses a holistic approach to wine-farming which combines organic and biodynamic principles with modern science. It is said to be one of the first plots of land to be set aside for wine grape production. 1999 saw the first Avondale vintage produced by the Grieve family. The Avondale Armilla Blanc de Blanc 2016 is rich and round on the palate, a perfect balance of toasty, warm hazelnut bread, fresh quince and green apple. The fresh effervescent acidity is crisp and lively yet seamlessly integrated on the palate; complemented by a full velvety mouth feel with hints of citrus - layer after layer after layer.
